20th Street Image 1
The mother of all San Francisco street festivals is happening this weekend: The 20th Street Block Party, located on the far end of The Mission, takes place this Saturday.

Hosted by our friends at Noise Pop, this year’s lineup includes performances from the likes of Chicano Batman and Boulevards and locals Hazel English, Madeline Kenney, and Spooky Mansion. In addition, you’ll find food offerings from Flour + Water, Frozen Kuhsterd, Alicia’s Tamales, and way more, plus craft vendors from all over town. Festivities go until 6pm, with an after party at Southern Pacific, just around the corner on Treat. 20th Street Block Party also benefits Mission Language Vocational School, which offers classes in nursing, culinary arts, and more to the local community.

Best of all? This event is free, free, free (unless you spring for the Headliner Experience tickets).Find it on the stretch of 20th between Bryant and Harrison, where things will get going at noon.
