The redlight District at The Blue Lagoon by Joshua Huver
The Redlight District of Santa Cruz is gearing up for a week and a half long tour with their most recent release: a pro-shot video from their March 11 appearance at Milk Bar in SF.

Compiled by Santa Cruz videographer Michael Thomas, the video of “What’s My Name” is a soundboard-quality recording that allows a unique glimpse into the essence of the band’s electric live performances. Check it out below and learn a little more about the band here.

Notable upcoming dates include back-to-back shows with Oakland-based duo Steel Cranes, where each band will take turns as the supporting act in the other’s hometown. On Friday the 12th, The Redlight District will be supported by Steel Cranes at The Crepe Place in Santa Cruz, and on Saturday the 13th, they travel north to support the Cranes’ hometown album release party for Tango at The Golden Bull in Oakland before taking their psychedelic schtick to Southern California.
