With Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, and Chance the Rapper on tap, the music choices for this year’s Outside Lands Festival are predictably on-point (and that’s not to mention Whitney, maybe my favorite small-font band in the history of the event. Just saying.)
But for those who want a temporary break from the world-class tunes, Outside Lands is offering up a tasty side dish of hilarious comedians as part of the event’s Barbary Tent.
Specifically dedicated to stand-up acts, the Barbary lineup will feature Portlandia star (and former Trenchmouth drummer) Fred Armisen, Adam Devine of Workaholics fame, and baby-faced comic John Mulaney. Other comedians set to perform include Natasha Leggero, Kyle Kinane and Community creator Dan Harmon.
Along with unveiling the names for the Barbary Tent, Outside Lands also announced that this year’s festival was once again sold out, so fans still planning on getting tickets for the three-day extravaganza will have to hit up the secondary markets.
Outside Lands will take place from August 5 – 7 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
