Last Thursday saw an incredibly talented lineup at the Independent, featuring Snoh Aalegra and JMSN.  Our photographer Robert Alleyne was at the show to capture these fantastic shots of the night.

Robert shares that Snoh Aalegra’s cinematic R&B sound was performed with grace and presence, and looks forward to her returning to The Bay with a full band (and maybe some strings!) to capture the sound fully. JMSN was full of energy and had the crowd pumped from start to finish. He’s come from being a warm-up act at the Independent in 2014 to nearly two straight sold-out shows of his own at the same venue.
