This Friday night, the Swedish American Hall is bringing a night of indie dance music to the Castro, with a show featuring Canadian duo Humans. Joining the party are a pair of San Francisco-based acts, Manics and Niteppl. And guess what? We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Humans at Swedish American, email with “Humans” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.

Humans are touring in support of their Water Water EP. I don’t know much about them, except the EP is very good:

Manics is a duo formed by Jordan Deherrera and Chris Sanders, are much more than just a pair of electronic pop wizards — they’re also the founders of Popgang Records, which has over 50(!) releases under their belt since their launch in 2013. They also produce events including Commune Wednesdays at the Elbo Room, last year’s Big Splash Festival, and a recent show at the Sutro Baths with LMSFN, (Patrick Brown‘s new collective). I’m sure there’s plenty more I’m omitting, but trust us when we tell you that the guys from Manics and Pogang are making shit happen in San Francisco. Look for a new Manics EP along with several other releases from local artists on Popgang this summer.

NITEPPL, yet another electronic duo on the Popgang label open the show. Deherrerra tells me NITEPPL also plan to release a new album on Popgang soon, but for now you can listen to their latest LP below, which feels…important while remaining fun and danceable:
