Hungry Skinny is headlining one slam-bang lineup at Bottom of the Hill Saturday night.

In addition to Skinny’s old-school groove rock vibe, like if the southern-fried nasty jams of Black Oak Arkansas were reinterpreted for millennials in the 21st century, the bill also features the dance punch of The Lower 48 who are celebrating a record release that evening. A sneak peek of upcoming track “Hot Fool” is included below, its tight rhythm section bolstering the enticing vocal melody, possessing both ’80s new wave cool and a modern-day pop sheen. Opening things up is LA-based Mars and The Massacre, a group of psychedelic head-trippers with a firm grounding in the aesthetics of classic garage rock, bringing to mind past masters like The Chocolate Watchband and Electric Prunes.
