For the first time since 2009, Oakland band The Matches played The Fillmore on Monday night, December 28, 2015, with support from fellow local band Finish Ticket.  The band had been on hiatus since 2009 and played a few select reunion shows through 2014, but there wasn’t a better way to close out 2015 than a night of back-to-back shows from the local favorites at one of San Francisco’s finest venues.

Brittany O’Brien was at The Fillmore on Monday night to photograph both bands delivering some great music to an excited crowd.
