FInd out all the raffle prizes for our Giving Tuesday event next week

You might be wondering: What is “Giving Tuesday” and why should I care? Think of it like this: We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.

If you’re interested in giving back to local music — in another way besides buying show tickets and merchandise — The Bay Bridged is hosting a Giving Tuesday event at Cease & Desist in the Mission District of San Francisco. All proceeds benefit The Bay Bridged, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and our mission to support and promote Bay Area independent arts and music. For $60, you’ll get complimentary craft cocktails from Cease & Desist bartenders, bite-sized eats, and every attendee gets one ticket to the event raffle (you can buy extra raffle tickets at the event), which will include the following prizes:

Prize #1:

The winner here will take home multiple bottles of craft Vodka and Rum, along with the relevant Bloody Mary and Dark & Stormy mixers for a prize that should be keep you inebriated deep into the holiday season. A serious value buy.

Prize #2:

Records. Records. Records from two of our favorite local labels Slumberland and Loglady. Need we say more?

Prize #3:

This one will be popular. Winner receives 4 VIP tickets to Phono del Sol AND unlimited drinks for all four attendees at the festival, along with a special seating area with awesome sightlines to the main stage. We could try to put a value on this one but, frankly, having free drinks at San Francisco’s premiere summer music festival with your best friends? That’s priceless, no?

Prize #4:

We’ve got a $50 giftcard to Dr. Teeth and a $50 giftcard to Cease & Desist. That’s $100 worth of good eats and drinks. Stay away from the Ghost pepper sauce on those wings, okay? We won’t be held responsible for overly spicy food, or you having too much fun with this one.

Prize #5:

For the showgoers, you can’t lose with this one. A pair of tickets to any show at The Chapel. That’s right. Any show, you pick — just show up, magic ticket in hand and walk right in. Hotel Utah has graciously given us a $50 gift card, which we think will go a long, long way with their extremely reasonable shows and pricing. To top if off, you can also go enjoy Slow Magic at the Regency with a friend on Thursday, December 17.
