Whether it’s turkey or tofurkey on your plate this evening, we hope you’re having a mighty fine Thanksgiving today. Here at The Bay Bridged, we’re thankful for a lot of things but especially the vibrant Bay Area music scene that has allowed our organization to thrive for ten years now. Without the great bands and musicians who live in the Bay Area, we couldn’t do what we do. And without our readers, like you, we wouldn’t still be here ten years later.

As you probably know, we’ve put together a number of great events to celebrate and help us keep moving forward. This Tuesday, we will host a fun Giving Tuesday event at Cease & Desist in the Mission District that includes complimentary craft cocktails served up by the bar staff, bite-sized eats, a prize raffle, and free gifts from The Bay Bridged archives. Tickets are only $60 and all proceeds go directly to The Bay Bridged and our mission to support Bay Area independent music.

We’re also in the middle of our Year End Fundraiser on Indiegogo. The cornerstone of the fundraiser is our 10th Anniversary Compilation album, which features 42 rare and unreleased tracks from our favorite local musicians.
