Two different shows, two very different lineups: the fact that we’re giving away a pair of tickets to each show might actually be the only thing Kool Keith and Scott Weiland have in common.

First, New York’s art-rap bizarro Kool Keith will bring his live show to Social Hall SF tomorrow night. If you want to see “Poppa Large” performed in-person, now is your chance. Side note: The Prodigy’s controversial (and misogynistic) hit song “Smack My Bitch Up” was based on a sample of Kool Keith’s voice saying “change my pitch up, smack my bitch up.”

Stone Temple Pilots might be long past their prime, but that doesn’t mean that Scott Weiland can’t keep playing their hits on his solo tour. Keep your ears open for “Plush”, “Creep”, and “Interstate Love Song” to make an appearance on Sunday at Social Hall SF.
