October is for ghouls and ghosts — especially in a place as weird as the San Francisco Bay Area.
But in the midst of all that, there’s a plethora of themed Halloween shows and haunted parties. We’re happy to announce The Bay Bridged will be adding to this extensive calendar of awesome events by partnering with Wave Dweller — a local promotion company and record label — to bring you “Night of the Living Shreds” on Fri, Oct 30 featuring O, French Cassettes, Everyone is Dirty and Summer Peaks. In addition to the lineup of great local bands, each group playing the night will perform a cover set of some names you might recognize…
O (formerly known as Black Cobra Vipers) and French Cassettes will be splitting the headlining spot and doing a joint cover set of James Brown, the coveted “Godfather of Soul.” Local rock ‘n roll group Everyone is Dirty are applying stardust for their set featuring all David Bowie covers. Summer Peaks, the Brentwood-based indie group who open the night, will stop you from forgetting about ‘last night’ with a stint as The Strokes.
October is in full motion, and we guarantee you that this night will be a great way to close out the month. Tickets are onsale now and $7 in advance / $10 at the door. Don’t forget to also RSVP on the FB event page.
