Giraffage

Charlie Yin, the man behind the Giraffage dance party, has spent a sizable amount of 2015 on the road from a winter tour with Spazzkid to a mass of festival appearances from HARD Summer to Life is Beautiful. Hopefully you were aerating the grass in one of the crowds for either Mad Decent Block Party or Outside Lands and you already know what Yin is capable of. As it isn’t enough to keep the dreamy electronic remixes of R. Kelly or Janet Jackson on repeat, his live sets continue to incorporate these fan favorites within his growing catalog of originals.

To bring you up to speed, following last year’s No Reason release, we’ve been hit with shimmering remixes of Odesza and Tinashe that work perfectly in an underground Koopa club. Fast forward to the last few month with a set of No Reason remixes and a team-up with fellow local Viceroy and you have a Bay Area summer mix covered. Now, we have the back and forth with Slow Magic. Giraffage and Slow Magic will be joining forces in November covering the country with a hometown stop at The Regency Ballroom. DC based producer Lindsay Lowend will open each night later on in the tour. Listen to the pair’s collaboration on the theme of their upcoming So Cute! tour.
