My Morning Jacket love the Bay Area.  Their live album Okonokos was a recording they did at our very own Fillmore back in 2005, long before they broke out at what seems to be a career-defining moment of playing a 4 hour set at 2008’s Bonnaroo Music Festival.  Wherever you may have heard the band (Jim James, Tom Blankenship, Patrick Hallahan, Bo Koster and Carl Broemel), their music has certainly morphed over time into a unique blend of southern harmonies, jam rock sessions and a multitude of genres backed by some serious guitar solos.

They have a live show schedule of epic proportion as well, doing a 3-day residency at the incredibly spacious yet intimate Masonic starting this Thursday, October 15, 205, and running through Saturday.  Tickets are still available for all three shows but they’re running out fast.

You can refresh yourself on the band with a listen to “Believe (Nobody Knows” from their latest album The Waterfall that came out earlier this year.  If you like what you hear and have always wanted to catch them live, you have a chance below to win a pair of tickets specifically for their Thursday show this week on October 15, 2015.  The other ones you’ll have to buy if that’s what your schedule allows, but if Thursday night is open before Treasure Island kicks in and you need to get your rock on, then here’s your chance.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to see My Morning Jacket at The Masonic on 10/15/15, email daniel.kielman@thebaybridged.com with “My Morning Jacket” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
