Twin Peaks have just embarked on a fall tour with Wavves, with Oakland’s Swimmers (a.k.a. SWMRS) supporting the two bands for the first leg of the tour. Catch all three acts at Bimbo’s 365 Club tomorrow night. Steep Leans, who was recently picked up by Wavves’ Ghost Ramp label, will replace Swimmers for the second half of the tour.

Twin Peaks’ Wild Onion was released about a year ago, and has put the young band at the head of the Chicago DIY garage rock scene. Twin Peaks amusingly played the Twin Peaks stage at Outside Lands last month, and recently performed “Telephone” on Last Call with Carson Daly. Watch the video for “I Found a New Way” below.

Wavves was a polarizing force of pot-fueled post-punk back when Nathan Williams was Los Angeles’ unofficial King of the Beach, but he’s been relatively quiet as of late. Williams has released a recent side project under the moniker Spirit Club while fans wait for Wavves’ upcoming album V, due October 2.
