DRINKS is Cate Le Bon and Tim Presley, teamed up for retro-pop perfection. They’ve got a new single, “Laying Down Rock,” and they’ve premiered it at Vogue, of all places. Take a listen below.

“Laying Down Rock” is noticeably outfitted with White Fence’s signature psychedelic flourishes. Everybody says it, and we’re gonna say it, too: It’s another Presley project inhabited by the ghost of Sell Out-era Who.

Cate Le Bon is a Welsh singer, now settled in California. You probably already know Tim Presley: The man behind White Fence, he’s a veteran of SF’s scene.

“Laying Down Rock” is the second single off of the duo’s debut, Hermits On Holiday, out on August 21st. They’ll be at the Rickshaw Stop in November.
