Hot Flash Heat Wave has released a beautiful, hypnotizing new video for “Gutter Girl.” Get ready, cause this one’s gonna be stuck in your head for a while.

Premiered over at Clash, the video sees the band following a woman I assume is said “Gutter Girl” across the city, from the park to the beach and beyond.

The coolest thing about this video? Aside from a few anachronisms (lipstick would have been more likely to come in a tube, and I don’t think that freeway was there but I could be wrong), it legitimately looks and sounds like it was made 50 years ago. (Also, I need to know where those red shorts on Gutter Girl came from. Those need to be in my closet now.)

Hot Flash Heat Wave are playing the Art Boutiki in San Jose tonight with Docks and No Vacation, and look for the debut record from HFHW to arrive this September.
