Burger Boogaloo is this weekend (snuck up on you again, didn’t it?), and will be hosted by John Waters,  the director of Cry-Baby and other hilariously grotesque cult classics.

The all ages Boogaloo is an annual untamed festival this Saturday and Sunday with a line-up that includes The Mummies, Jonathan Richman (founder of The Modern Lovers), Fuzz (Ty Segall alert), and the thankfully easy-to-Google Guantanamo Baywatch, plus loads more.

You’ll find the fest located at Oakland’s Mosswood Park with the entrance on W MacArthur Blvd between Webster and Broadway. Bring some cash for food stuffs as there won’t be any food or drink allowed inside aside from two clear plastic sealed bottles of water per person, but there will be a 21+ beer garden and food vendors.
