Promo 3 High Res Kristin Burns

Australian singer Lenka may be best known for previously being the lead singer for Australian rock band Decoder Ring on two albums.  When she split from them to pursue her own work as a solo artist in 2007, she moved to California and has had success working on her own albums.  Her song “The Show” appeared in the 2011 film Moneyball another track, “Everything at Once”, was used as the official music for a Windows 8 ad.

Four solo albums in, her most recent album The Bright Side is just that, a collection of ten songs that explore more of the optimistic side of things, after she had already explored some heavier moments on her previous albums.  She brings her jubilant sound to the Brick & Mortar Music Hall this Wednesday and The Bay Bridged has two tickets to give away.  Simply follow the directions below for you and a friend to get a chance to win, and if you’re not familiar with her music, you can stream her entire new album below.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Lenka at The Brick and Mortar Music Hall, email with “Lenka” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
