Marriages, the alternative-rock band from Los Angeles, recently released their debut full-length album, titled Salome. The record is dark, brooding, intense and delicately crafted–all in a way that is done seamlessly and, seemingly, without much effort.

Coming after a first EP, Kitsune, several years ago, Marriages’ new LP shows a concise, technical sound that is advanced and impressive. From the driving bass in “The Liar” to the dreaminess of “Binge,” Salome reveals a band that has taken a unique direction, sound and feel, mixing post-rock, goth, alternative and shoegaze elements.

You can listen to a full stream of the album below and check out Marriages at this year’s Phono del Sol Music & Food Festival!
