NightLife LIVE returns to California Academy of Sciences tonight with Machinedrum Vapor City Live and B. Bravo, presented by DJ Dials. The monthly series is part of the Golden Gate Park science museum’s weekly Thursday night programming, featuring live performances in the outdoor West Garden and DJ sets in the indoor Piazza. The event is open from 6-10pm to 21+ patrons. Beer and cocktails are to be enjoyed, including NightLife’s signature Magnolia Aliciella Bitter.

Machinedrum, a.k.a. multitalented producer Travis Stewart, will headline tonight’s event by performing his latest full-length album Vapor City live from start to finish. A Vapor City Remixes EP was released on Ninja Tune as a Record Store Day 2015 exclusive. B. Bravo will warm up the West Garden with a live set of synth-based space boogie, introducing NightLifers to his take on the Modern Funk Movement. Brogen Bently and DJ Dials will provide DJ sets throughout the night.

The NightLife LIVE 2015 series runs through October, featuring appearances by Hanni El Katib, Hot Flash Heat Wave, The Dodos, Doe Eye, Alvvays, GRMLN, Moon Duo, Peaking Lights, Hundred Waters, TOPS, and more. Check the official calendar for more details.
