Canadian duo Energy Slime is on tour with their label mates, Tough Age, in support of their debut release, New Dimensional, out now on Mint Records. The two Vancouver-based pop bands will perform on April 25 at Eli’s Mile High Club in Oakland, and on April 28 at El Rio in San Francisco. Stockton’s Monster Treasure will support them for both shows, with Oakland’s Meat Market joining the bill for Saturday’s Oakland show.
Energy Slime is Jay Arner and Jessica Delisle, who recently joined Arner to record New Dimensional. The lo-fi synth and guitar pop duo released the 10-song, 13-minute 7-inch release on Mint Records earlier this year. Jay Arner released his debut solo album in 2013. Energy Slime’s Mind Records label mates Tough Age will release their sophomore LP, I Get The Feeling Central, on June 23. The album’s lead single, “Snakes & Ladders”, recently premiered on Nylon. Stream the fuzzy pop rock jam below, along with “Sea Of White”.
