Portland’s Lost Lander will be coming on over to San Francisco this week to promote their most recent album, Medallion.

The album is an dream-alternative-rock mix, from the synth-driven “Gemini” that features an electronic bass synth mixed with the powerful duet between Matt Sheehy and Sarah Fennell and a booming brass section that comes surprisingly in different parts of the song to the tripped-out, dark ballad that is “Crush”.

With new wave sensibilities combined with a more modern indie taste, the sound is both nostalgically reminiscent and refreshingly intense, giving you a dreamy yet exhilarating sound. The lyrics, produced by Sheehy, float in and out around the topics of loss and love – two things we can all understand.
