The Bay Brewed 2015

The Bay Brewed is less than a week away, and we are ecstatic to announce the addition of San Francisco’s ThirstyBear Brewing Co. and Woods Beer Company to the already deep lineup of brewers that will be quenching the collective thirst of the masses next Sunday at The Chapel. That’s right – there will now be eleven brewers champing at the bit to serve you their tastiest suds while you soak in the diverse sounds of four local bands sharing the stage down on Valencia Street.

ThirstyBear is a modern-day SF classic, brewing local beers down on Howard Street since 1996, and their current roster includes some delectable brews, from the Valencia Wheat (perfectly named for The Bay Brewed) to their Kozlov Stout (hands down one of the best stouts, if not beers, brewed in SF city limits). As they said in a recent Facebook post, ThirstyBear is “just trying to change the world, one flight at a time”:

Woods Beer Company is based out of both SF and Oakland, and will be joining The Bay Brewed for the first time in 2015. The company’s tagline says that they “make adventurous beers for curious drinkers,” and they aren’t joking – the brewer just finished off a batch of cookie beer. Yep, you read that correctly – COOKIE beer – and it sounds absolutely delicious, infused with the flavors of all your favorite Girl Scout cookie flavors including Samoas, Thin Mints, and more:

So come on down to The Chapel this Sunday, March 29 to enjoy great beers from ThirstyBear, Woods, and nine other great San Francisco brewers, along with tunes courtesy of Tumbleweed Wanderers, The Seshen, Guy Fox, and John Brothers Piano Company.
