Sonny, Sonny, Sonny. After so many years in our Bay Area scene, how are you still so good?

Veteran local Sonny Smith is back with his band the Sunsets, this time with a new video for “Happy Carrot Health Food Store”. Peruse the aisles of the Happy Carrot (San Francisco’s Other Avenues serves as a stand-in) with the band, and be ready for a complete, colorful freakout. Watch the seven-and-a-half-minute mini-movie below. It’s like a Sesame Street segment for jaded adults.

The band is currently wrapping up a few West coast dates with Colleen Green and will be playing Huichica in Sonoma this summer.
