Nate Baker, Samuel Gray Edmondson join Australia’s Hipstones at Hotel Utah

Noise Pop 2015 has come to an end, which means it’s time to recover with a mellow evening tonight at the Hotel Utah. Australia’s Hipstones, a soul band, are currently on a US tour, and have enlisted local songwriters Samuel Gray Edmondson and Nate Baker to join them for their SF gig.

Samuel Gray Edmondson (a long collaborator with Cazadero) has three albums on his Bandcamp that are well worth checking out, full of intricate guitar work and beautiful, folk-inspired melodies.

Nate Baker will also bring some folksy tunes to Hotel Utah’s stage. While his Soundcloud recordings are complete with full-bodied twang, his set tonight will be solo, so attendees can expect a more stripped-down set that will put his thoughtful lyrics on display.
