Wild Moth just announced two tours, one in support of their recently released split with fellow Bay Area post-punk band Creative Adult, and the other presumably in anticipation of a new record. The first is a West Coast tour in late March with Hollow Sunshine, a fuzzy California rock group who will have just released their LP Bring Gold. They’ll be performing at Thee Parkside in San Francisco on March 26 as part of this tour. The second tour takes them through the Southwest, where they’ll be joining Whirr (self declared best band in the world) for most of the dates.

2013’s Over, Again saw Wild Moth channeling the angular dissonance of post-hardcore bands like Drive Like Jehu and the big rock sounds of bands like Mission of Burma, while the layered vocals and bass driven song off their contribution to the Creative Adult split recalls the patient, mid tempo grooves of Unwound’s last record, Leaves Turn Inside You. Listen to the song below, and check out both tour fliers, designed by the band.
