Noise Pop NightLife

In case you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Noise Pop starts this weekend. In fact, everything kicks off TOMORROW NIGHT when Noise Pop takes over NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences “for an evening that explores the science of ear candy,” with a DJ set from !!!, Dawn Golden playing live, and much, much more. Find out below how to win a pair of tickets to this unique evening in Golden Gate Park.

!!! DJs will actually only be the band’s man on horns and percussion, Allan Wilson, spinning a crazy mix of “house/tech/diva/club/kwiato/disco/leftfield shit”, while opener Dawn Golden, the solo project of Dexter Tortoriello of the band Houses, will bring a set inspired by doom-metal, downcast electronic. Listen to one of Wilson’s mixes below.

If that’s not chill enough for you, head down to the Coral Reef and jam out to the ethnically-inspired beats of Awesome Tapes From Africa and a DJ set from local favs Push The Feeling.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to Noise Pop NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences, email jason@thebaybridged.com with “Noise Pop NightLife!!!” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
