Two Sheds have been playing beautiful folk music for many years in the Bay Area – since 2006! For those unfamiliar, listen to past releases Strange Ammunition, Two Sheds EP (“You” is one of my personal all-time favorites), and Covers.

Two Sheds recently announced their Kickstarter for a new album, entitled Assembling:

Our Goal:

We ask you to join us in raising $3,500, which will be used to:

  • Professionally manufacture CDs, cassettes and our first vinyl LP, to be released through Crossbill Records and Weiner Records in May 2015.
  • Manufacture merchandise – t-shirts, tote bags, buttons, etc.
  • Spread awareness of our new album through a professional PR and radio campaign, overseen by the wonderful folks at Riot Act Media.

If we meet our $3,500 goal, we have a Stretch Goal, with plans to:

  • Make a sweet music video (we’ve got so many ideas we had to buy a third shed to fit ’em all).
  • Finance longer and more frequent touring in 2015, with money for gas, lodging and food.
  • Record a new EP, engineered and produced by super friends Robert Cheek (By Sunlight, Tera Melos, Chelsea Wolfe) and Eric D. Johnson (EDJ, Fruitbats).

More info, including rewards breakdown, on the band’s Kickstarter page. And for a taste of the new album, listen to “It’s Okay”, embedded below, or check the band out live at Amnesia on Saturday.
