White White Wolf is a folk project fronted by San Francisco’s Chistopher Drellow, who said he rented the cheapest cabin he could find in tiny Paxton, CA to record his debut self-titled album. Although the recording process might seem a little Bon Iver-y, White White Wolf’s recordings are anything but conventional. Yes, there’s a lot of acoustic guitar, but Drellow’s layers of atypical harmonies and other creepy sounding effects turns the music in a new direction. Drellow is in the process of forming a live band and will perform at Viracocha February 1, 2015.
