Cotillon’s Jordan Corso is a new San Francisco transplant via LA, a relocation that started when Corso and his band were recording their forthcoming debut LP with producer Chet “JR” White (of Girls).

The new album, due out on Burger Records early next year, is darker than Cotillon’s EPs. Corso and his band offer a first single “Before”, which is hazy, hardly beachy, and well fit for San Francisco fog.

No Bay Area shows have been announced just yet for Cotillon, but hopefully it won’t be long. With so much of the coveted local garage rock scene changing, Cotillon’s presence is likely to be one that’s both fresh and familiar.
