Astronauts, etc.

In a progressively compelling video series uncovering the East Bay music scene, Dreaded Savage Films and Oaktown Indie Mayhem have shared yet another intimate performance, this time from Oakland natives Astronauts, etc. We’ve mentioned these guys before when French Cassettes were filmed strolling through San Francisco’s Chinatown singing “Too Young.” Completely adorable. This time around “Sadie” was filmed in lead singer Anthony Ferraro’s crowded living room of silent friends. It has the same atmosphere of a Sofar Sounds secret show, except without the hand-wringing lottery drawing. It also features an incredibly cool Telecaster with kittens underneath the strings. Their next (public) show will be at The Independent on November 22 with an all local line-up of Gardens & Villa and Eternal Drag.

Off of the eponymous debut EP, you can buy Sadie digitally or on vinyl through their Bandcamp.
