Kid Trails, the project of Oakland’s Patrick Jeffords and Andy Woodward, just dropped their Feels The Same EP, showing an expansion to their spacey pop sound. The opener “Never Falls in Love” sounds like a slow dance from a ’60s sock hop somehow set in the future, while the rest of the album takes a much more restrained approach than their previous release, Out Here. The approach works, and you can see it in action December 18 at Bottom of the Hill with Modern Man and Foie Gras. Feels The Same is below.
