Not much is left to the imagination with a name like The Porno Riots: as you’ve probably already guessed, their music is loud, fast, raw and decidedly raunchy.  Sure, the band is still in the demo phase of existence, but even the technical wizardry of a Jimmy Iovine or Mutt Lange couldn’t gloss over the grime with their industry-entrenched production skills.  There’s just no way you can tame those tumbling tom fills and double-bass beats, that filthy bass tone and those fuzzed-out guitar riffs.

Featuring three Bay Area filmmakers translating their shared passion for imagery into this horror-punk project, The Porno Riots released the Evil Twins Demos earlier this year and plan to release a full-length 10-inch in 2015.  The slogan for this upcoming record?  “Ten inches of porno rioting.”  A more perfect tagline has yet to be written.
