Deafheaven Converse Rubber Tracks Live at The Chapel

Everybody’s favorite black metal band* is doing the Converse Rubber Tracks Live thing. Yep – Deafheaven is heading out on a five-date Rubber Tracks tour that kicks off with a free (but sold out) gig on their home turf tonight at The Chapel in SF, followed by dates in LA, Brooklyn, Boston, and Toronto. And guess what? We get a special treat tonight, as WOVE – the nacent project from Nate Mercereau of the now defunct A Million Billion Dying Suns – will open the evening, playing their first ever show in the Bay under this new moniker, and we have a exclusive new track courtesy of Mercereau himself. Listen to “On And On,” which was recorded this past weekend at Different Fur and engineered by Patrick Brown, below.

If seeing two of the Bay’s best musical talents on stage together for FREE isn’t enough, there’s more. We have a pair of tickets to give away so one lucky reader can get into this exclusive, sold out show.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Deafheaven and WOVE’s Converse Rubber Tracks Live gig at The Chapel, email with “Deafheaven/WOVE” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.

[A winner has been chosen, and the giveaway is now closed. Thank you for everyone that entered!]
