If you’ve seen Mac DeMarco play live recently, you’ve probably already caught a feel of Walter TV too. The band, after all, is comprised of DeMarco’s touring band: Pierce McGarry, Joseph McMurray, and Simon Ankenman.

Furthermore, if you’ve seen the touring band, you’ve also already got something of a notion as to how the group interacts on stage – like goofy, nerdy, PBR-drinking, quirky ragamuffins who’ve also got a great ability to play guitar.

Since they dropped Appetite in 2012, Walter TV has been switching up their time between working with DeMarco and on their own stuff, but are finally hitting the road since re-releasing the album on vinyl and CD on Sinderlyn Records (which, by the way, also comes with “a poster, a DVD of shorts filmed by Pierce and starring Joseph, and a zine”).

This month they’re hitting up a few West Coast locales, including Brick & Mortar this week, as well as 1-2-3-4 Go! Records on October 22.
