Two Gallants show poster

We see a lot of cut-and-dry concert listings around these parts, so a unique listing like this one from Alcoholocaust Presents, for an El Rio show on Saturday afternoon, easily piqued our interest:

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11TH – EARLY AFTERNOON OUTDOOR BACK PATIO SHOW! 3PM TO 8:00PM!

“WE ARE UNDONE” (Big Super Secret Headliner)

The secret headlining band members were born and raised in San Francisco and are a well known national act who have released four critically acclaimed albums, perform on national television on a regular basis and have no problem selling out the Fillmore. Come see them in a rare small intimate setting.

Huh. On a completely unrelated note, according to Two Gallants’ Facebook page, the band is going to be announcing details about its next album soon. The SF duo recently covered Scott H. Biram’s “Truck Driver” for next month’s While No One Was Looking: Toasting 20 Years of Bloodshot Records. More information about the tribute album can be found on Bloodshot’s web site.
