With nothing but a demo and a handful of shows under their belt, San Francisco’s Marine Life just released their debut EP Fool of a Kind on Spain’s Elefant Records. Marine Life’s Marvin Santos explains that Elefant Records has always been his favorite label, and he sent Marine Life’s demo to the label despite Elefant explicitly saying on their site that they do not accept demos. Somehow the decision worked, and you can listen to Marine Life’s brand of indie pop below, and purchase the very cool 7″ vinyl package from Elefant.

To celebrate the release, Marine life will perform at Hotel Utah October 10.
