The Folsom Street Fair is best known as a leather/fetish festival, but there’s also a whole lot of great music happening in conjunction with the festival. On Sunday, September 21, the Fair will host performances by Austra, Monarchy, MNDR and locals like The Younger Lovers and Double Duchess (to say nothing of multiple stages of DJs too), but you should also be sure to check out what’s going on at the SF Eagle all weekend long.

Saturday night brings “The Black and Blue Rockin’ Ball” to the Eagle, with live sets by !!! and Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine (for a more than fair price: $20, which includes four drink tickets). On Sunday, the venue is offering a free stage of bands and drag queens, with My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult headlining and local rockers Frightwig, Hot Lunch, and Pins of Light all set to perform.
