Now in its 6th year, the Mission Creek Oakland Music and Arts Festival has announced its 2014 lineup.

Spanning ten days and eight venues, highlights of 2014’s schedule doesn’t limit itself to that top-tier of local indie—it’s a true representation of the East Bay’s eclectic, devil-may-care approach to music. Highlights include Bay Area and Bay Area-related favorites and newcomers like French Cassettes, Tele Novella, Rin Tin Tiger, Bart Davenport, The Blank Tapes and a ton more. There are also art events celebrating writers, artists and square-dancers (yep, square dancers!) from the region.
