The Chase will return for its seventh installment at Public Works on August 29, “pushing the aural and visual dance party paradigms.” Read on for a chance to win a pair of tickets.

Representing West Coast variants of deep house, cosmic disco, Balaeric dance and lo-fi acid, the event will feature electronic sets from Magic Touch + Roche, NEWBODY, Ash Williams, and Ghosts on Tape. Visuals will be provided by Subset, a San Francisco-based visual team that has provided unique sensory experiences for parties such as Surface Tension, Haçeteria, Warm Leatherette, and Body//Current.

Magic Touch (aka Damon Palermo) will team up with San Francisco’s Roche (aka Ben Winans) for a back to back DJ set. Hear their recent collaboration “Strongbow & Spliffs” below. Los Angeles-based duo NEWBODY (aka Jonathan Roshad and Robert Ramone) will appear for their debut DJ appearance in San Francisco. Local Icee Hot veteran Ghosts On Tape (aka Ryan Merry) will DJ alongside The Chase’s resident DJ Ash Williams. This dreamy, future-forward dance party is $10 at the door and only $5 with pre-sale.
