Music Video Race

The Music Video Race had its third annual screening and awards show July 20, and they’ve since shared the fruits of everyone’s labor on the interwebs. Just like the last two years, the contest paired local filmmakers with local bands to create rad videos. It’s a fun, unique event that I hope will continue for years to come. The runner-up for Best Video went to Bill Baird and Slow Clap Productions‘ video for “Soggy Soul”. Bill was actually performing at Phono del Sol the weekend the video was made, which kind of forced a lot of the shooting to be done without him. However, you still see PLENTY of Bill in the oh-so NSFW ending.
