Lauded as “down home disco,” UK’s CYMBALS will be hitting Rickshaw Stop next Wednesday with Berkeley’s own Astronauts, etc. and Santa Cruz’s The Wild Wild. The Age of Fracture, their most recent release on Tough Love Records, was produced by Dreamtrak (Hot Chip, Chad Valley) and the inspiration is described by frontman Jack Cleverly as “it hit me that I often feel paralysed by the feeling that everything is ‘too complicated’, and that many people I know feel that paralysis.”

We know you had an important evening of Netflix binge-watching planned, but do something a tad more exciting by dancing to speculative synth-heavy CYMBALS.
