In addition to sampling all of the great music, food and drink that will be a part of Phono del Sol 2014 this Saturday, you’ll definitely want to swing by our festival marketplace, where a number of great vendors will be showcasing their wares. Here are some of the vendors we’re excited to have at the festival.
Be sure to stop by the Bay Area Record Fair‘s booth. In addition to selling records from local labels and providing information about their next record fair in September, the BARF team will be also be selling a limited edition and totally rad local compilation CD.
What’s better than regular clothing? Clothing with rad silk-screening done by San Franpsycho! This SF institution will be on-hand at Phono, so be sure to grab some gear from them and get some awesome silk-screening done!
Sonoma County artist Natalie McKean makes ridiculously cool works of scratch art (for dummies: applying paint to a surface, then scratching it with a metal stylus) that have found their way onto t-shirts, sake sets, light plates and more. Check out her handy guide to DIY scratch art to learn more about the technique and head to her booth at Phono.
We’re also excited to have local apparel company MAHOOHOO on site at the festival. Focusing on small run and one of a kind jewelry, clothing and gifts, you’re sure to find to some really cool and unique items in their booth.
Finally, a lot of events have a photo booth, but a photo bus?! Grab your friends and check out Das Bus in our bandshell-adjacent beer garden. There, you’ll be able to get fun pictures taken in their awesomely retrofitted VW bus!
