Amen Dunes, the project of Damon McMahon, is touring in support of his latest Sacred Bones release, Love. Tonight, Amen Dunes will headline Rickshaw Stop with support from Axxa/Abraxas and San Francisco four-piece VANIISH.

The Murder Dull Mind EP was Amen Dunes’ first release on Sacred Bones in 2010, a set of recordings tracked in his Beijing apartment before McMahon had moved back to New York. Amen Dunes has since released more experimental material on McMahon’s own Perfect Lives imprint, including The Ethio Covers 7-inch.

Love features some of McMahon’s most accomplished and accessible songwriting, with his latest collection taking a more traditional approach. The album features collaborations with Dave Bryant and Efrim Menuck of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Colin Stetson, and Elias Bender Ronnenfelt of Iceage.
