Self-described “Indie/bluegrass/TropicalCalifornia666 band from San Francisco” The Creak just released a video to accompany their single for “Seafoam Black (The Flame is Gone)”. The band tells me the Natalie Tsui-directed visuals were inspired by the work of David Hockney, and I’ve been humming that first chorus since I first heard it a couple weeks ago. The Creak currently doesn’t have any local shows booked, but they’re frequent buskers, so keep an eye out for ’em. If the video isn’t enough, you can also purchase “Seafoam Black” in a vacuum-sealed pack that includes a toy car. And why shouldn’t you? Without further ado, here’s the video:
