Ready to get down?  North Carolina native Lee Fields brings the soul and then some to The Fillmore this Friday, June 27, with his fresh R&B sound bolstered by a little help from Truth & Soul Records house band The Expressions.

Fields has plenty of performing experience up his sleeve, having toured and played with Kool & The Gang, Sammy Gordon & The Hip Huggers, and many other legends over the years. His latest album with The Expressions, Emma Jean, released earlier this month to critical acclaim and it’s hard not to feel something when listening to the songs. Hear for yourself on the J.J.
