Couches, the brainchild of 20 Sided Records head David Mitchell, kicks off their 11-date “Comfy Summer” Tour of the West Coast with three Bay Area shows surrounding next week’s Fourth of July holiday – at The Night Light in Oakland, San Jose’s Gingerbread House, and the Hemlock in SF.
After they return from the Pacific Northwest, the trio will release a new 12-inch EP entitled Slackin’ Since the 80s on September 9. Pre-sale orders will be available mid to late July at a discounted price, and we’ll be sure to update you when more details become available.
Below, listen to a demo of the track “Don’t Slay the Dreamers” that, based on the title on the cover art, will be included on the new 12-inch, and then peep the updated cover art and a couple local show posters. Info on the Bay Area leg of the Couches’ Comfy Summer Tour follows.
