Brit alt rockers Maximo Park have been around a long time. Fourteen years, to be exact. In this time, they’ve released five solid LPs — a discography that the band pulled liberally from on Thursday night at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco.

Sporting a plaid suit and a fedora, it’s a little tricky to take lead singer Paul Smith seriously. Nonetheless, I saw a good portion of the crowd singing along, dancing, and (commendably) putting the music first. Photos for your visual enjoyment below.
