Hickey Fest 2014

The second annual Hickey Fest is going down June 20-22, the weekend of the summer solstice, so come celebrate the first day of summer and the longest day of the year by the Eel River with some of the California’s finest. Curated by Oakland’s own Ash Reiter, the festival is a true labor of love, a breath of fresh air during a festival season dominated by massive prices and overwhelming atmospheres.

Held at Standish Hickey State Park (from which it takes its name), Hickey Fest features three days of music and over 30 bands, including Allah-Las, Sonny and the Sunsets, Chris Cohen and Tomorrows Tulips, who will be serenading you among the trees at the intimate setting of The Peg House, where a modest sliver of the 101 serves as the only reminder of the outside world. A weekend pass includes camping and access to all three days of music, so before you decide if you want to be a part of the ultimate camp-out, check out the lineup below, because you’ll be bunking with all of them on the shared grounds.

Early Bird tickets are available until midnight TONIGHT, so buy your passes NOW!
