Psychedelic rockers Sleepy Sun recently announced that they will be joining Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires this Thursday night at the Regency. Fresh off a stint in Austin last weekend, the band will bring their particular brand of towering riffs, cascading choruses and atmospheric soundscapes to a bill that features a crooning soul-revivalist in the vein of James Brown.  Hey, why not?  It’s San Francisco, anything goes here.

Sleepy Sun is currently supporting their latest LP, Maui Tears, released this year, and, as of this writing, this is the last show date scheduled until late August.  If you haven’t had the chance to see them yet, now is a really good opportunity. It’d be an even better opportunity if you win the tickets we’re giving away here.
